Role of Women in the Indian Society – Let the Women reach the sky which is the limit

You can tell the condition of a nation by looking at the status of women – Kundan Srivastava

The society consists of mainly two genders male and the female. During the historical time the males were the bread earner and the females without exception were the home makers but not anymore. As change is the only thing constant this practice has also changed with time. Women of our society are no more restricted to the parda tradition and are moving ahead in all aspects of life. From the CEO of Pepsi Co. to the head of ICICI bank is a woman. The women are often considered as multitasks and that has lead to their success till this stage. It is commendable that in spite of fact that an Indian lady has to play a role of a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and daughter-in-law (the list is never ending) simultaneously still they have coped up to reach such high position.

It was previously said that women are moving at the equal level as the males of the society however it is no more accurate, because they are moving ahead of men! No doubt to this fact that the females of our families are better managers than the males of our family. Even if a woman is not working she does twice the work that the male member of a family does. A woman is someone who takes care of need of each and every member of the family no matter how small or big that need might be. They are somebody who would happily give away every bite of her meal for the sake of her family member. Believe it or not but it’s just because of the females of our families that we are connected to our religion and traditions. They are a very strong pillar our society and that is the reason why it is said that behind every successful man there is a woman! Considering the fact that India is a developing country, the females are coming up as a real asset to the development of the country.

If you look at the daily schedule any woman of our society you would go flabbergasted that how can a human body work so much in a day both mentally and physically. Above all, they do all these tasks with a smile and no demands. Isn’t it amazing? And shouldn’t we be thankful for this to them? They devote all their lives for the betterment and convenience of their family member and don’t regret it once. No wonder that we worship all the goddesses so much. They give us so much, and often instead of being thankful to them for the same we end up insulting them. Come on guys lets promise to ourselves that from today onward we’ll try to do everything possible for the happiness of the females of our families. Give them all the respect, love and care that you can.

Educate a man and you educate an individual. Educate a woman and you educate a Family.
