Education System in India – What needs to change ?

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. ~Nelson Mandela

Education is the foundation on which the life of a person is based. It is crucial because most of the time the level of your education decides your future and the lifestyle you are going to lead. Out of all the states in India there is just one state Kerala which has 100% literacy this fact itself highlight the kind of education system that exists in India.

Education makes future of India

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.

The constitution of our country in Part III i.e. the fundamental rights, guarantees free education to every India citizen below the age of 14. It gives the right to minorities to establish their own educational institution. However, considering the point that now the market needs professionals and doesn’t care about your educational qualifications that much. The government needs to focus more on the ‘skill education’ which means giving training with which they can meet their daily necessities to the uneducated people along with basic education. Many Indian families are still of the view that if their child is not good in studies he’ll always fail in life. They need to look up for inspiration towards the families of the sportsperson who make us feel so proud every now and then. Just think what if their parents would have thought the same way. Move out of the box and they look at today’s world. All the fingers on our hands are different sized so stop comparing your child with other kids everyone has a different forte.

Education Future of India

Education = Future

The still mentally colonized when it comes to education system. Most of us consider that more money investment means better education and better career but it’s untrue. Indian education system is more degree centric rather than expertise. I strongly believe that reservation on any other ground apart from financial is pointless. The private institutes here are nothing more than a market or rather a shop for degree (not all…but majorly). We need to amend the system in which the people must be allowed to take the job that interests them because in that condition they’ll put their 100% efforts in the task and it will no more be a burden. We need to rise up from this degree fever.

Most of the student in the present scenario wish to get a nice degree from some high profile collage in abroad and try settling there do you realize the effect of the same of the economy of the country that has given you strength in your body to stand your own motherland. The changes are needed not just from the end of Education commission of India but also the approach of the citizens towards it. The purpose of education is not just getting a job but it helps you in becoming a better person and taking decisions in the walk of life.
